Olive Crest is an organization that aims to help at-risk children through the healing power of family. We are excited to partner with Olive Crest to provide hope and care by collecting gift cards that they can use to help their foster and respite families when they are blessed with a new addition.
The Scriptures continuously ask Christians to carry each other’s burdens. This is especially true for the orphaned and fatherless. Through our partnership with Olive Crest, we are able to come alongside a foster, adoptive, or biological family, to provide them with spiritual, practical, and emotional support. This includes financial assistance, household goods, and becoming a foster adopt family for those in need of safe and stable home.
Thinking about becoming a foster family or a respite family (families that come alongside foster/adopt to give them a night out) or adopting yourself? Olive Crest will be hosting an information class that will not only help you understand what the needs are, but will give you next steps.
Join us on Sunday, February 19th from 3:00-5:00 pm at the VV Campus.
Over the next few weeks, we will collect Target and DoorDash gift cards for Olive Crest. To donate a gift card to Olive Crest, purchase it online and send it to HDC.
