Why it matters. This is the quiet engine of belonging. Connectors don’t stand at a table or huddle in the corner — they notice new people, remember them, and intentionally take them out for coffee during the week. It’s how someone goes from “I attended” to “I have a friend here.”

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Notice and remember newer people on Thursday nights
• Invite one person out for coffee during the week (we supply the gift cards)
• Follow up relationally — text, check in, invite to the next thing
• Help people take a next step into Rooted, a serving team, or the wider church
• Guys with guys, girls with girls — always

COMMITMENT

• Cadence: Present weekly + at least one coffee meet up every 2 weeks
• Arrival: 6:15pm, Thursdays

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Socially confident, warm, and safe — people are naturally drawn to them
• Spiritually mature and trustworthy with newer believers
• Self-starting — doesn’t need a stage or a title to serve

BEFORE YOU SERVE

• Baptized follower of Jesus
• 6 months at YA before serving
• Membership at HDC strongly expected
• Invitation only — Connectors are personally identified and shoulder-tapped, not signed up
