Medical Response Volunteer’s work as part of the Safety Team. This volunteer’s primary function is to assist individuals experiencing medical issues and emergencies until EMS arrives to take over. Volunteers will be expected to maintain a minimum level of care as an EMT-B or higher. Volunteers will be expected to be familiar with HDC’s trauma kits, med bags, and medical supplies. Volunteers will be expected to attend annual training and be familiar with the equipment used by the safety team. Volunteers will be expected to be familiar with the buildings on all sites. Safety Team Volunteers will be expected to be familiar with HDC’s safety team handbook. It is desired to have a helping heart and flexibility for scheduling.

Time Commitment: Twice a month during one of our weekend service times.
